VINTAGE CONDITIONS:
Long cool ripening period, similar to 2022 and 2002 (some of the best-regarded vintages for Rieslings in the Clare Valley). Adequate rainfall at opportune times saw the vines have excellent canopies and minimal disease pressure.
WINEMAKING/VITICULTURE:
Harvested in the cool of night, gently pressed into Stainless steel. Cool ferment over 14 days.
TERROIR/SITE:
Located in the heart of the Clare Valley, the vineyard rest on the a gentle slope facing west with Terror Rossa Soil over limestone.
TASTING COMMENTS :
Colour: Pale lemon with green hues.
Aromas: Fennel and sweet perfume over freshly cut lemons and limes.
Palate: Kaffir Lime flavour, lean and powerful, lightly textured structure, balanced palate with long dry finish.
